Lenz Octane Rectifier Prototype | QC Captures

Based on a 1997 Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier Rev G that was modified into a new prototype by Eddy Lenz. This modded amp became the inspiration for the Lenz Amplification "Octane". This amp has a crushing metal tone with the orange channel being more vintage voiced and mid-forward, while the red channel has a modern sound with massive bass and scooped mids.

There are 22 Amp&Cab captures with a 1971 Marshall 1960B with 1969/1970 pre-Rola Pulsonic G12m-25 75Hz T1221 Greenbacks, miced with a Shure SM57 and sE Electronics VR1 Ribbon mic.

There are 20 Amp only captures.
